U-Box Delivery Options With Moving Help
You have three options when you order Moving Help with your U-Box container delivery order. You can have your U-Box storage delivery order done with U-Haul or Moving Help.
Moving Help moving labor providers offer three options when it comes to U-Box storage containers:
You can choose a Service Provider who offers U-Box Delivery Only.
- This means the provider will pick up the U-Box container from a U-Haul location and deliver it to your home. You load or unload the U-Box storage container yourself. You then contact the same provider to come pick it up when you’re done, and they’ll deliver the U-Box storage container back to the U-Haul location.
You can choose a Moving Helper who offers U-Box Delivery with Load and Unload.
- This means the Moving Helper will pick up the U-Box container from the U-Haul location and deliver it to your home. They’ll load or unload the U-Box storage container for you. Then they’ll deliver the U-Box storage container back to the U-Haul location.
You can choose a moving labor provider who offers Load or Unload Only.
- This means the moving labor provider will load or unload your U-Box storage container at your home or at the U-Haul location. If the loading or unloading happens at your home, you or U-Haul will pick up the U-Box storage container at the U-Haul location and then you or U-Haul will deliver the U-Box container back to the U-Haul location.
How Many U-Box Containers Can Moving Help Deliver in One Trip?
For U-Box delivery, a Moving Help Service Provider can only deliver one or two U-Box storage containers in one trip at the maximum.
It’ll depend on the provider’s towing capacity. If the towing capacity only allows one U-Box container, the Moving Help provider will deliver one U-Box storage container at a time. If towing capacity allows two U-Box storage containers, the Moving Helper will deliver two U-Box containers at a time.
You should keep this in mind when ordering your U-Box storage containers.
If you order 10 U-Box moving containers, it could take up to five to 10 trips to just deliver the U-Box containers to your home. Then it’ll take the moving labor provider five to 10 trips to deliver them back to the U-Haul location.
You can fit plenty of items into a U-Box container, which will fill about 1 1/2 rooms in your home. This should help you figure out how many storage containers you need. You also can find out what can’t go into a U-Box storage container and how to pack a U-Box container correctly.
How Does Adding Moving Help to My U-Box Order Work?
You’ll order the number of U-Box storage containers you need first and then you’ll add Moving Help afterward. Additionally, Moving Help Service Providers are paid per U-Box container and not by the hour.
Therefore, if it takes 30 minutes or 5 hours to fill one U-Box storage container, you’ll still end up paying the same amount because time isn’t a factor for the price.
