Both helpers were an hour late to the assigned moving time and worked for 30 minutes total. I’m upset with the lack of accountability of the schedulers. I called 11 times before I heard back from anyone, starting 30 minutes after the scheduled time. I understand and am sympathetic that the client before me ran overtime due to their own moving issues, but I expect communication, and I got none. I think your booking times need to account for delays, and if there is a delay, communicate that before the scheduled moving time. At the amount I paid, I figured it came with the disclaimer that you would show up on time.

The guys were courteous and got to work immediately. They were in contact prior to the move and let me know they were an hour behind schedule. Unfortunately, because they had another job immediately after, they were rushed in the end. A lamp was broken and the items weren't carefully stacked in the storage unit. i.e., ottoman on top of my printer, bookcase on top of dining table, and mattress blocking access to smaller items. I had to reorganize everything to ensure that heavy items were on the bottom and smaller lightweight items on top. Dining table has scratches.
