Moving assistance. Packing, loading, unloading.
We requested 2 movers for 4 hours to load and unload. The owner called beforehand to discuss the job but rather than ask for details about what we needed to have moved, he tried to discuss extending the time of the move before even seeing the home or items to load. He showed up with a teenager; both were unqualified and inexperienced. We had to explain how to use the dolly as they tried to carry a single loaded dolly together by holding it on each end. We packed boxes and totes and had larger items ready to move; instructed them to only focus on these items, as we were moving the smaller items ourselves. Did not follow instructions and was unable to complete the job we actually hired them for. My roommate had to step in to assist when they exceeded time. Movers damaged a $4k bed and did not tell us; put the broken pieces inside totes and packed items around it to hide it. Did not manage time properly and refused to stay and assist with unloading.
