Workers were not professionals and had never met each other before this job. No one seemed to have any experience loading a truck. They struggled to get furnishings out the door and scratched several pieces on the step railing. They dragged furniture on the concrete driveway, creating more damage. They dropped the couch sections from the top of three steps and let it fall to the driveway where the sections came apart. Damage was not seen until after they had finished unloading and were paid and gone. We have since attempted to get resolution yet getting nothing but run-around and no one taking responsibility. Make sure you understand that with this U-Haul deal, you are not hiring a moving company, you are hiring random helpers who bid online to do work regardless of their experience. U-Haul assumes no responsibiliity for the work and does nothing to assist after the fact. The workers are independent contractors, not employees of any company. No one is held accountable for damages.

John did a great job managing the scheduling process and continued to keep me up to date. He asked appropriate questions and provided helpful suggestions to be as prepared as possible for moving day. John and Rahim arrived at the time contracted for and worked efficiently and effectively to get as many items as possible loaded on the truck...if I have a bigger truck they could have loaded more. We were initially only concerned with getting the larger and heavier item moved, but they were able to other items on and off the truck too! Great job guys! Thanks!

Communication throughout the whole process was wonderful. anytime I had a question I was able to text them and I got an answer to my question. There is rain scheduled for the day of my move out and so they were able to come the afternoon before that actually got moved out. It was a great team. They were very professional and handled all my furniture and belongings with care. The boxes were packed Tetris style.
