DO NOT HIRE MURPHY'S MOVERS. I can't explain the horror I experienced and can't believe they have so many positive reviews. I genuinely think they're running a review scam. Murphy himself did my move and he arrived late in the evening, after dark. He was already late so I felt like I had no choice but to allow him to do it then. I'm a young single woman and was alone. His behavior was extremely erratic and bizarre, to the point I think he must've been high on meth. Throughout the night he told me details about the first person he murdered (his exact words), his involvement in the Bloods, among other terrifying things, and I was so afraid I didn't even feel safe to get my phone to call for help. He watched me the whole time. After he left I did a quick Google search. Turns out Murphy Wayman Carter is a registered sex offender with public record of multiple violent felonies and a history of trafficking young girls. I can't believe U-haul allowed this person into my home.
