AA - Movers Smart Fellows

I booked 2 movers for 2 hours for my move. They were scheduled to arrive at 10am, they showed up an hour late, and due to that we had already loaded most of my belongings. They were there for less than an hour and I was still charged for the full 2 hours and when asked how long I thought they should be paid for, I said no more than 1hr, which was generous. Then I was bombarded with calls requesting the payment code. This was incredibly unprofessional and absolutely do not recommend.

Late arrival Damage to walls, furniture and railings. No rollers, ect and 2 men had difficulty lifting heavy items.

The folks who were sent for the Job didn’t have the strength or experience. I communicated to them to use the elevator when taking load up one floor (unit was on second floor) and use stairs for coming down! One of the workers kept carrying one back pack at a time and waited for elevator both ways. I had to join them to finish the job and worked twice as hard. For loading in Calgary one company brought 2 guys and finished it in time without any help ( I did not touch a thing). For unloading I had to help full time and we barely made it in time. Overall workers were looking for the 2 hrs to finish than the job to finish. Not recommended.

This team was quick and friendly during my move. However, I didn't receive any confirmation of my booking until I reached out to confirm myself 48 hours prior to the scheduled service.
