We only had about 2 rooms of furniture to move. We had no appliances, 1 couch, 2 mattresses, 3 recliners, 1 dining table, 4 chests, 1 wire shelf and some random boxes and yard supplies. We had everything separated for the movers. We even brought everything down from upstairs. Both individuals were deaf, which is fine, except that I do not know sign language and we used up a lot of time trying to understand each other when communicating. Perhaps they could bring a pad and pen next time to speed up the communicating process. The second mover did a lot of standing around watching the main mover work. We ended up paying for 4 hours that should have only taken 2. They had no tools, they borrowed screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, drills etc from us. Totally unprepared. I will never use this moving service that UHaul offered again. I am extremely dissatisfied with today’s move.
