Jorge O'Connell was great! He communicated very well, timely, and clearly via text (which worked best for me), he was punctual, good-mannered, kind, amiable, made great conversation, had a great attitude, and removed all of the stress of my move-in experience in a new place. He unloaded my U-HAUL container on his own (which was PACKED), and very quickly, too. And then, once everything was in my apartment, he offered to move anything into a different location in my apartment, which was very kind and thoughtful of him. I was hesitant to hire a moving service to help me move my stuff, but I have zero regrets and would hire O'Connell again in an instant. P.S. Just saw the previous 1-star review. Things happen, and during any move, something is bound to break. But I can attest that Jorge is careful and cognizant when he's moving your belongings. For the record, I had packed a lot of boxes full of very fragile tea sets, ceramics, plates, mugs, fragile, and picture frames, and nothing broke.

Do not use this mover. He showed up with just himself to unload my U-Boxes when he needed 2 people so I helped him unload. Then he damaged the Apartment Refrigerator and broke one of my columns. Jorge admitted to hearing the door hit ect and stated that he did not check for damage. He lied about being in communication with Moving Help and then tried to instill fear in me by saying he was in contact with his lawyer. I chose not to pursue legal action because it wasn't worth it to me but I have pictures, text and video surveillance to back up everything I'm saying but instead I am going to warn others to not allow this Moving company to take advantage of your kindness like he has done me. I can replace the $20 column which I had even expressed to him that it wasn't a big deal I just wanted to be treated fairly for the damages he caused but it's ok. Karma is real and what you do to others, you will see again sir. Not Professional.

I recently selected OConnell Moving for a pretty hefty job . When I reviewed the various companies, I noticed they were a little bit newer and did not have many reviews, but I just had a gut feeling to take a chance on them. Wow, I am so happy that I selected them!! From start one I had great communication from Jorge. I was a bit nervous about the whole thing so I wanted to make sure that they were going to be there on time and that I knew that they understood what my job entailed. Jorge contacted me a few days before the move as well as the day before and let me know exactly what his ETA was and assured me that everything was aligned. They were right on time and eager to take on the job. Long story short , this amazing company managed to load all of my belongings into 4 UBoxes in an incredible amount of time. I felt like they were super knowledgeable about the process of packing the UBoxes and were top notch professionals as movers and good human beings in general! Book them today!

Wonderful company! On time, early even! Answered all of our questions, Jorge was awesome and super friendly. The Uhaul location got messed up and he didn’t give up once we figured out where our boxes were. If I need help again I’d definitely use this company without question!
