The communication prior to my move went well. The issues we ran into happened towards the end where my TV was scratched when put into the TV moving box, my Britta water filter was broken and left outside in a parking space next to my U-Haul, my glass shampoo dispenser was broken outside of my apartment and one of my personal towels was left under the dolly inside the U-Haul after my move was marked completed. In the future, I will make sure to double check everything is completed and intact before giving the payment code.

Keep Your Payment Code Private Until Work is Completed I hired Box Spring Moving Company through U-Haul’s Moving Help platform. Initially, two movers were confirmed, but after rescheduling, only one showed up. Before arriving, the person asked via text if I had the payment code ready. I provided it, believing it was needed to start the job. The movers dropped off two trailers, then left without explanation, leaving a single employee to handle the move. I repeatedly tried to contact the person and had the employee call as well. When I reached them, they claimed the rescheduled date made it impossible to send two movers, but this was never communicated before or during the move. As someone with ADA protected health issues, I hired two movers to avoid physical strain. The lack of communication and unprofessional behavior caused unnecessary stress and hardship.
