Ready to Move

Unfortunately this was a bad experience. The Movers seemed like nice guys, but unfortunately their quality of actually moving things was not. I don't feel like they handled my items with care at all. They seemed very rushed and by being rushed they were stacking stuff on top of each other without consideration of scratching stuff. They were wrapping anything and I had plenty of blankets. I had to tell them to wrap things. I had to tell them multiple times to be careful. As a result of the way they were moving things, my 6 month old expensive King mattress has a major tear about a foot long. My refrigerator is scratched in multiple places, clothes dryer the front has scratches. I haven't had the chance to check everything else. I am crossing my fingers. Like I said, the guys seemed like nice guys, but they just didn't handle the items with care, which resulted in damaged items.

Daniel arrived on time, Brian was 45 minutes late, which meant my son unloaded the truck for 45 minutes with Daniel. Not good. Daniel was great and communicative, not so much with Brian, he never said a word to me.

I had two movers during my move, I know one was named Vincent and I think one was named Matt. Matt was fine, I had no problems with him. Vincent was the worst mover I have ever worked with. He was loud, complained, cursed in front of my toddler, kicked boxes labeled fragile, and broke a shelving unit during the move. I will never go with a company recommend on this site from this experience. They were also late to start. They asked for cash for the extra half hour they stayed, but asked for the full hours cost instead of the half hour. I just paid it because I wanted them gone. I would go out of my way to tell any of my friends to avoid this company if they're moving.

The communication with Brian was fantastic. I had no issues contacting him or coordinating with the movers. The movers contacted me with their ETA, they showed up on time, and they completed the job within the two hours I booked. They did lots of heavy lifting and came up with a good system to get my stuff through the awkward entrance of my apartment building. They got heavy pieces of furniture out of the truck and into my unit without damage with their own equipment. The movers were not professional. They did not have the right clothes on for the job in the heat and did not seem prepared upon arrival. Only one mover unloaded the truck in the heat while the other was inside the whole time. The mover unloading the truck dropped several boxes and did not handle the items with care. He also made unprofessional comments. The mover inside organized the boxes by room which was helpful, and he stacked the boxes and furniture with care as he shuttled items from the elevator to my unit.

These guys unloaded my 10’ truck in 30 minutes even with having to go up a flight of stairs for most of it. They did an excellent job and were very respectful of my property and home.
