I thought for sure this would be a horrible rating as my experience was frustrating at the start. First, I never knew what time they were going to arrive. I finally called them and was told around 5 pm. I thought that was awful late. At 5 they callled and said they were still at the other job and it would have to be the next day. I was flabbergasted. Moving is time sensitive. The next day they arrived and one of the crew couldn't get on base due to something in his background check. Took another two hours before they weee able to start the job. It was unorganized and they can use more experience packing but they are also about 50-100 dollars cheaper per hour than every other company. It was a good learning experience for them and I would use them again. I did tip them because they did work hard and packed a lot more than I expected. My main complaint is against moving help.com and U-Haul. Despite promoting the moving help and taking 15 percent, they do not accept any responsibility.

Poor internal communication. One manager saying one thing then another told me something else. Then the first manager tried to charge me for what the other manager told me he would just do... They were hours late, I called them. They told me a time and then were 2 hours late again without a follow up. The crew and on site manager were great, but they need to be consistent when they will show up and what they are charging for.

Setting up and getting the movers was easy and straightforward. The movers were friendly. However, I feel underwhelmed by the entire experience. Despite agreeing to assistance packing and loading a truck for a long distance move, verifying that the truck should be big enough, providing bubble wrap, shrink wrap, and many blankets, the movers chose not to use any of it. They seemed to have no plan on how to efficiently pack the truck or to make sure my items, especially the wood items, were safe. I eventually just cut the loading 20 minutes short and tipped the movers just to get rid of them. By the time I arrived at my destination, there was now damage to my desk, damage to one nightstand, and damage to a table.
