The move was not a good experience. It took much longer than it should have. It took about 5 hours for two movers to load the truck. The unloading was much faster, only two hours but both my partner and I assisted them with unloading. Because we tried to unload quickly, many of the boxes were placed in the wrong rooms. We let the movers go at 9 pm (after about 7.5 hours) and had to go back and load the remaining items that could not fit on the truck before and unload it ourselves. Overall, we spent almost $850 (excluding tip) and 7.5 hours for two movers to move a 2-bedroom to a 1.5 bedroom apartment.
