Did not particularly enjoy working with these guys. They did show up on time, however they didn’t get started until about 20 minutes later due to trying to figure out where they wanted to start. I had 2 guys booked for 2 hours to unload a 15-foot truck to the 3rd floor of a 1-bedroom apartment (no elevator). Though I am sympathetic to and understanding of the heat and stairs, it should not have taken over 5 hours to unload. I have moved before with the exact same items to another 3rd floor apartment with no elevator, and it only took them about 2-2.5 hours. During the process, I was repeatedly old that about 3 hours total would be enough time for everything. I was okay with paying for 1 additional hour. Not 3. I felt like they deliberately took extra time, since they are paid by the hour and not by job. DO NOT book unless you are okay with spending more $$$ on the day of.

At first contact everything was good. The two helpers arrived on time and were very kind and professionals. Even the weather wasn't great, they did their best. At the end, I contacted the Manager to express a concern with one of the matters but never heard back. Was a good start, but it was not a good ending to not reply or ignore to my inquiry.

Communication was poor. I had to contact them the night before my move to verify that they were coming. I had to email and text addresses of both move locations. I had to make 2 calls on the day of the move as the movers were 45 minutes late. Two guys showed up in a car and they smelled like Marijuana. It took them 45 minutes to load 6 pieces of furniture. The movers were okay once they got going. No apologies from the contact (representative). He did not seem concerned about my move or that his movers were 45 minutes late. I would not recomend Absolutely the Best Movers. I'm not sure how they had 5 star reviews.

Tireless services in extreme heat conditions by staff that arrived as scheduled. Completed all tasks as requested. Best to call the company to confirm the time that you want them to arrive. I called the day before.

The gentlemen helping to unload the truck were great. They were very careful with our belongings. Communication with the company was not great. They did not reach out to confirm and on the day of service, the guys were about 45 minutes late and the company did not reach out to inform me of the delay. I only found out when I called to see where they were as we we anticipating their arrival.
