Move Masters Jax

We got Mike and I forgot his partners name. They were 15 minutes late. We started and they were moving slower than I expected especially for this to be a timed service. First there was no communication, I had to email and text them to confirm. Then he said that he didn’t know they were unloading and loading and that they had to leave right after loading unless we pay them for an additional hour. We paid them via cashapp for an additional hour and they still didn’t finish the job. We had to finish unloading ourselves because they hard stopped on that additional hour. My main problem was that they moved too slow, were on their phones, were not careful with our belongings and lied to us about not knowing they had an unload and loading job. I would not use this company again.

First and foremost, they broke my entertainment center and didn’t tell me. I found out when I found the leg of it laid out on top. Secondly, they charged me for an additional hour and only worked 20 minutes and said they were done and left me to finish the rest. There was 40 minutes left that I paid for that I did not receive help. Also, the way that they asked for me to pay for that additional hour, I found out, was not protocol. They were supposed to add the hour to my uhaul bill yet they told me I needed to pay them via cashapp or cash for that additional hour as they cannot just add the hour like that. They then said that they could help my family move other items but only if we don’t go through uhaul and pay them directly for 2 hours minimum when they only had a few items to move. They said it wouldn’t be worth it to them. Which I then again found out is against protocol and not something they are to do as everything has to go through uhaul. Not the best experience.l was lied to
