To start, showed up 4.5 hours late. Said they got caught up on another job which I understand but everytime I would call them they’d say 30 more minutes until they actually showed up which is poor communication skills or poor time management. Reeked of weed smoke which isn’t uncommon among movers but unprofessional considering my parents and child were present. I had 15 moving blankets and they chose to use none of them which resulted in some damage like scratches on my washer, dryer, fridge, some pieces of wooden furniture. Around three fourths full they tell me they can’t fit everything and I need to prioritize. Looked full but upon unloading about half way I see a huge gap on one side that they barely packed and then covered up with larger items to make it look more full. Using pillows as a base, putting metal drum hardware on a chair without any kind of protection, haphazardly placing wooden furniture. My mover at my destination couldn’t believe how sloppy this was and I agree.
