I had to contact the moving company a week ahead of the scheduled moving day. I was worried that my order was not scheduled. He told me that they usually contact you a few days before the set date. So I waited 4 days before the date and had to call. He told me that he is waiting on the helpers to respond to him. He would call back then and confirm. I called back 2 days before and he told me the same thing. So now the day before at noon I called again and got no answer. I waited until that evening and at 8 pm I emailed my disgust. In about an hour later I got my confirmation by phone. In the morning I got another confirmation. Then the actual help called for the street number. All they got was the street name. They arrived as scheduled, they worked hard, they loaded as expected. I and my son helped to speed up the process. But I should have got them for longer. 2 guys for 3 hours for a 3 bedroom house that has a dining room and living room. Needed another 4 hours. At least.

They did an excellent job until it was close to end time, then they put thinks on the truck without taking care. Much of this furniture was damaged. During the move one man left for 30 minutes or so, yet as soon as their time was up, despite a VERY large tip, they left with major furniture items not yet loaded. This made for a very difficult move for us.
