Chris was awesome - we were on a third-floor apartment and we really just wanted help with the heaviest and most onerous items. It was hot and humid out, but Chris got everything very safely and neatly loaded in the truck, and then led the way getting everything unloaded and upstairs. It would have been terrible without him! We had a small 3 bedroom appointment that we only moved from 2nd floor to first floor. So no real driving time. And it took them 3hrs. And they only moved half of our stuff. They spent more time standing around and talking than they did moving. I'm disabled so that's why I paid movers now I have to pay more movers to finish the job!

I had such a positive experience with Illini Movers. I booked their service through U-Haul to have help unloading a 15ft truck at my final destination of a cross-country move. Prior to moving, I reached out to Chris to confirm the day and estimated time of arrival. Chris was responsive, flexible, and more than willing to make accommodations given the distance of my move. For instance, he was able to offer evening availability (after 5pm), although I imagine that was not ideal for him and the other movers. When I arrived at my destination, Chris and Frank met me promptly and they had my belongings unloaded within an hour. They were careful with my furniture and Chris was very attentive to the labels on my boxes to ensure that they were put in the right place. He even had food recommendations and other helpful tips about the area. Overall, I was so pleased with my experience and I would highly recommend Chris and Illini Movers for any of your moving needs.
