I have no idea where all these 5 star reviews came from or if I just had different movers. This was hands down the worst experience I have had moving and I hire movers every year. The workers were late which messed up my work schedule. They were incredibly slow and unproductive. Had zero initiative or direction. Bumped and banged all my furniture on walls and corners. Scrapped multiple items. Broke my sofa cord and my bed frame leg. Need both people to lift simple items. Constant complaining about how they wanted to use the dolly for everything. Would wait around until I opened door or clicked elevator button for them. Had to be told a hundred times to be careful and delicate with my items with how much they scrapped and dragged. No stacking or moving skills. Not sure if they had a bad day or were injured or if they’re new to the moving business. However I am very disappointed with the level of help I received during my move and regret it very much. Will not be booking with them again.

They were great. Didn’t stop moving got the job done well and safe. Be aware outside Chicago area they charged an additional $40 for travel. Not a big deal but definitely should be aware since they populated on my search for moving help in Plainfield. But definitely wouldn’t hesitate to hire again. Thank you!

The crew that loaded the U-Haul trailer for me today did an excellent job. They wrapped the stairway to protect it, and also wrapped several pieces of furniture for protection during transport. They had me check the load placement as they went, and did such a great job of fitting things in, I was able to include several additional boxes and a table with stools in this load! I'm very satisfied with their professionalism and the job well done. I highly recommend Advanced Movers!
