I was told they may be late but would try to come on time. Day of I had to reach out half an hour after they were supposed to get there only to find out they’d be at least 3 hours late. instead of showing up at 2, they showed up around I believe 645. Uhaul moved the box location without notice to me so the movers then decided to try to shake me down to give them more money to make up for the distance while telling me if I didn’t it wasn’t even worth their time to move me. They did this on the phone and in person. I didn’t pay as all payments are supposed to go through uhaul but I still didn’t appreciate the hostility. When they finally arrived one of the movers said he didn’t even work for them, he was just helping a friend out, and they spent a good while complaining about how heavy my couch was. It is a heavy couch, but that’s why I hired movers. They did take some items to the dumpster for me which I appreciated.
