While the movers arrived about 20 min late they added an extra hand to compensate. This ultimately didn't help much as the movers would only pile my things by the truck in the parking lot of the apartment complex and only the foreman would organize and pack the truck. He did an excellent job at that, but his workers need training if he is to leave the job site. He did give me an hour free, but that doesn't fix the delay in the day's timeline. I had an hour delay buffer built in but still had to move my unloading guys 2 hours past when I'd originally scheduled. The foreman was communicative and flexible, but I get the impression that this group is a guy and a few employees trying to make some dough, but the result is that the professionalism just wasn't there. The loading job from the 3 men with S&J took about twice as long as the 2 man team unloading.

Hired 2 movers to help unload a truck for 2pm. They showed up two hours late. I had to contact them in order to figure out what was going on and why they were so behind. I called three different times, sent a text message, and left a voicemail. They finally called me back 20 minutes after their scheduled time to tell me they were running About 30 to 45 minutes late. But they ended up arriving over two hours later. I missed an appointment and was late returning my U-Haul so I got charged extra. Very unprofessional.

The only issue I had was that I scheduled a time, 11 am for a Saturday morning and got a message Friday night stating they could not be there until 2pm after another job. I picked up the UHaul truck at 130 and was there ready. However, I got a text saying it would be another 30 minutes. Then 45 minutes later I was told another 15 minutes. Movers finally showed up around 330pm. And they arrived with 3 rather 2 people, which was very nice. I have to say, once the guys started moving items, they were extremely efficient and precise with packing the truck. We used them for both our load and unload, which was very nice. The guys were also very polite and worked very, very hard, even on such a very hot day. I was a bit concerned about a couple of them but my stout, strong great nephew was helping with the move and helped them out a lot. All in all, a very good experience. I recommended to Shane that he get better at his time management and scheduling skills. He agreed.

After another company promised to be here for unloading and fell through, I was able to schedule S a J and they were at my house within a couple of hours. I would definitely recommend their help to anyone looking for assistance loading or unloading during a move!

Very good movers. They had all the equipment, took very good of the furniture and belongings, worked even longer than expected in 95 degree heat. These guys were awesome and I'd recommend them.
