Boston Professional Movers

We hired 2 movers for 3h & they showed up day of with no notice with 3 movers saying they’d be working for less time than the requested 3h as a result. They tried to leave after 1h of work and although everything was unloaded out of the van, we wanted help assembling large pieces of furniture. The self-identified owner said he was done with the job and raised his voice at me when I asked questions to try to understand exactly how much time we were entitled to given the unexpected change from 2 movers to 3. The owner (didn’t get his name) was condescending and rude throughout, saying I didn’t understand math and refusing to speak to me at one point, turning to my roommate’s boyfriend instead even though he was not the one who hired the services. I understand September 1 is a busy day but if they had over-booked themselves and needed to leave at a set time they should have been upfront about it and it should have been agreed to prior to moving day.

I’d recommend going with another company. They did not pack my truck in an optimal nor efficient manner. They also created a hole in my wall and did not accept the accountability for the damage.

The movers were great, they got a 1-bedroom worth of stuff up to the 3rd floor in an hour. And they had a great attitude when we ran into some elevator issues. Would definitely recommend their services!

Boston Professional Movers was exceptional! We have A LOT of stuff. These guys worked for 7 hours straight and were even able to extend the reservation by an hour to help get us into our new home. I highly recommend this team and will be hiring them again in a couple weeks to help move some larger appliances and furniture.

Ziggy & Tony were communicative both before arrival and during the move, worked with us to pack our U-Boxes exactly how we wanted and making the extra effort to make sure the most delicate items were protected, and doing a flexible extension of their time when it turned out I underestimated how long it would take. I really appreciated their effort!

It would have been better if you had arrived at the agreed upon time instead of almost an hour late but you get points for communicating that you would be late just not how late. Once you got here, you were both very hard workers on a very hot and humid day!!! You took good care of our mother's furniture and boxes and piano! Thank you!!
