CV Moving

I hired three guys for two hours and they did a good job overall. Truck was packed well, a few boxes marked fragile were on the middle or the botom of a stack. So far it looks like everything made it ok.

Chris and Chris were fantastic to work with! They were prompt, professional and affordable for everything they moved. I used them to move from a home into an apartment. One side of my couch unfortunately did not fit in the elevator or stairs but the guys tried to get it in a variety of ways, much appreciated for not giving up after the first try. There was nothing they could’ve done on their end to make this work but they did give me a name of someone to disassemble and reassemble the couch that could not fit. Highly recommend if you are moving.

While I appreciate CV Moving taking the job and their good communication prior to the day of service, I must express some frustration as well. They texted me very early on the morning of the job, asking if they could push the scheduled time back several hours, informing me they couldn't reach one of their employees. My time was set for a reason, as I had to move the van to a second location. To their credit, they came through and arrived on time. However, the van was not packed well at all, and my elderly father helped them move items, which I specifically asked be prevented. My father and I had to rearrange the van later that night which wasn't appreciated considering how much I paid them. They were paid for two hours of work and did less than an hour. Moreover, they didn't properly cover my couch, which led to a small tear in the fabric upon destination.

Had a great experience with CV Moving, and would highly recommend them for all your moving needs. They’re quick to communicate, show up on time, very efficient on time when it comes to moving items, and a very personal team of movers that made our move a breeze (from a third floor to ground level with heavy furniture into U-Haul). 5 out of 5 stars in my book!!
