I had to follow up with them myself after I inquired online through the UHaul website. On the day they were scheduled to help move, they tried charging us an extra $200 due to the POD being a difficult thing to load. The guys were slow and talked a lot. They didn't get to all of what we needed moved to the POD. I felt like I was working more than they were. Overall, wouldn't recommend.

They came late. One of them was on his phone for most of the time texting and making calls. They ended up not loading everything; they left immediately when two hours was up. It was a one bedroom apartment, and if they were focused on getting the job done, they would be able to load everything. Simply, I regretted hiring them especially because of the unprofessional work they did.

There was no communication from the company prior to the day of. We reached out by email, phone, and text in the 18 hours prior and did not have a confirmation until we contacted them. They reached out after the agreed upon arrival window to say they would be 20 minutes late. They called frequently and said they were 5 minutes out. They arrived an hour late. They did an efficient job packing the truck and nothing arrived broken.

neighbor five hours late for my appointment and the only person you can contact via the company number was unresponsive once arriving. They did handle my stuff well too young guys. They are moving a bit slow, but we’re very respectful and well mannered

You get what you pay for. Thompson’s is half the price compared to other moving services. Unfortunately, that may mean you get half what you were expecting. The movers were friendly; however, they arrived three hours late. They did call to communicate their delay, but only 15 minutes before their expected arrival. We were then stuck in rush hour because we were so far behind schedule. One of the two movers was extremely tired from his earlier move, so he barely lifted anything. The other mover was great. My friend, wife, and I loaded more than half of our belongings ourselves due to their lack of energy. If you use their services, you should double the number of workers and-or time. I only blame myself for trying to get a good price. Too good to be true.
