Caught owner in several lies. Besides 45 minutes no show, attempting to call him but was ignored, U-haul got a hold of the owner and he stated was on another job, couldn't answer phone and will be there within next hour and 15 minutes. Scheduled time was 10am, only 1 person showed up at two-thirty pm. I was assured multiple time other guy was on the way. I didn't want the couch moved til 2nd person was there, after an hour into loading heavy furniture, he said he had to do it himself. He damaged my new sleeper sofa after it was stuck through the door, knocking out brackets leg screws go into. The sofa was ripped, had paint from door frame and tears from guy shoving it through the doorframe and getting it stuck. The 1970s coffee table from my grandma was damaged. I wasn't satisfied due to 1 worker when I hired 2, owner made statement the guy did work of 2 guys and everything wasn't loaded. I had to get additional help load stuff he claim wouldn't fit. very unprofessional.

Im not sure if this movers help is the best option. It seems like a good idea but i was put in a very bad predicament for my move. The mover (hence 1 person) showed up 3 hours and 45 mins late. The person of contact (Eric) knew he was having an issue with help that morning but didn't contact me until after the supposed arrival time. Seeing that it was after the arrival time there was no way for me to try to find alternate help. He, Eric stated that he was going to be and hour and half behind. After an hour and 40 minutes I called and he still was not on his way. After a couple of calls he, Eric said that he could send 1 person instead of 2 if i still wanted the help. At that point I really didn't have a choice. Once the young man arrived he was very professional and worked diligently. It was a very frustrating day and put me in a terrible situation for my move out time.
