Movers were very quick and helped move all the heavy things that we couldn't get. Very happy with the results. The communication about setting up the appointment was not great. Call ahead of time to make sure the appointment is acknowledged and scheduled don't assume he will call or text first.

Pros While not the movers fault, the box was much smaller than I thought it would be, no where near big enough to move a 1 bedroom apartment. I was about to give up and convert the whole thing to a rental truck instead which would have been more expensive. The movers convinced me they could fit it and while I had to sacrifice my old computer desk and chair, they did manage a particularly tricky puzzle and got it to fit. Cons I felt a distinct pressure to hurry. I was on the phone with Uhaul to figure out the size truck thing and they nearly ran off because they didnt have time for that. I understand there is a $ per hour consideration but still... not the way I would have handled it if it was my business. There was also a lack of consideration for my furniture. There was one piece of brown paper on the bottom which quickly got scrunched up and my $1000 leather couch was just dragged on the cushion side. Luckily its leather. maybe i should have paid for the more expensive one.
