Hands 2 Hands

We had two moving helpers; one did the majority of the moving and the other primarily stayed at the truck. The one who did the moving worked so hard and really did the best he could under the circumstances and he was very friendly. The one who stayed at the truck did not seem to carry his weight on the team and also broke 3 of our items (a large bookcase, small bookcase, and large lamp) which are now unusable, and several other items have varying degrees of damage. My fiancée and I ended up having to move a lot of items up stairs ourselves because they ran out of time, and I think this would have been easily prevented if there had been 2 moving helpers who were both equally equipped to perform manual labor like we hired them to.

BAD! Do NOT Use. Entire experience was awful! Horrible communication. They showed up 1.5 hours late, didn’t help the full 4 hours, took over an hour lunch break, very unprofessional, they broke items by slamming down boxes clearly labeled; Glass-Be Careful or Fragile will break and they both smelled extremely bad. We had to use air freshener and open the windows to get the smell out when they left. One guy didn’t speak English and kept taking phone calls while trying to unload, the other was rude & screaming at his partner. Don’t use these guys!

Two movers who came were clearly not on the same page with the move as there was a tension between them as well as short comments between them. The two were also like a bull in a china shop with how they handled the furniture. Overall our belongings all made it into the apartment in one piece with no damage but it was a relatively tense move in.
