Oates Movers

I hired 2 guys for 3 hours to unload a U-Haul for a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhome. The movers were super fast and efficient and only needed 2 of the hours. The only concern I had was one of the guys mentioning I needed to pay a $50 stair fee per flight of stairs to move things to the 2 bedrooms upstairs. We only had one set of stairs and it was noted when I booked the movers. We chatted several times beforehand to confirm the move and any details, but was never made aware of a stair fee. An unexpected fee like that was unacceptable to me, and I felt stuck paying it because I needed the help and they were already there. I think this communication should be more transparent in the future.
