I made it clear that the furniture that would not fit in an SUV was the first to be placed on the truck. I had rented a truck large enough for the furniture, yet at the end of loading, there were still 6 pieces of furniture too large for an SUV not on the truck. This made no sense given the truck was almost as deep as my storage unit, and lots of the items were small pieces of furniture and boxes. When other movers unloaded at the endpoint, they found large gaps of space on the truck where no items were placed. They also found numerous pieces of furniture that were small enough to fit in an SUV, which meant that the movers ignored my instructions. Now I have to rent another truck and endure this expensive process again. Also, add extra time to your move because the 3 movers I had were deaf, did not lip-read and did not speak. All communication was typed by 1 mover on his phone and then I had to talk into the phone, which he then read. He had to stop working during this communication.
