I had asked for two movers to help disassemble furniture in my apartment, load my U-Haul, and come to my home on Long Island to unload. The two men arrived an hour late because they traveled by subway ans went the wrong way. They arrived with nothing. No tools to help move. These are not movers, just guys looking to make a little money. Because they had no transportation, they couldn’t follow through with the second half of the job and unload at my house. So we had to do it ourselves. If you need movers, call an actual moving company.

Prime Choice is a prime choice for moving help. They communicated well and took extra care of loading my mother’s things onto the truck, which helped to reduce the stress of moving! I would definitely recommend this company!

My communication was with a nice fellow that was clear and responsive to all communication. The day of my move, the movers contacted me to say that the previous job ran long, and they wouldn't be able to service my move and asked if we could reschedule (2 movers for 2 hours switching storage units). I could not reschedule. So, I presume the company was put in a no-win scenario, abandon the previous job or not show to the later one. Tough choice. But, it did put me in quite the bind. They were able to send 1 mover eventually, but that meant I had to do a lot more work than expected and the move took twice as long.
