Communication was poor with Randolph from the point of confirming reservation up to the day of the move. I always had to chase him down, instead of him calling me to confirm dates and times. Every-time I spoke to him, it was like the first conversation all over again, as though we’d never spoke. That didn’t build any confidence and it made my interstate move even more stressful. They were late on moving day, which put me on the road about 3 hours later than planned. He showed up with one mover, when I paid for two and stated he couldn’t lift anything over 20 pounds due to kidney dialysis. So literally, Tay was the only one loading my containers until Mike showed up very briefly to help him with two person things and then he left. So I really paid for two people but mainly had one. That made loading take even longer. Ray and Mike did a good job but Tay attempted to move my dresser by himself and broke a leg off it. Randolph should stick to logistics and staff accordingly.

Randolf was a great communicator and worked to schedule the U-box unload at a time that was convenient for me. Mike unloaded carefully, patiently and efficiently! Would definitely hire again.

The gentlemen who showed up were timely, polite and industrious. However, they neglected to correctly stack the pods we were using, going so far as to stack items marked fragile at the bottom of the pile and not secure items. Only one piece of our wooden furniture arrived undamaged, and flat screen TV was used to hold boxes into place and nearly fell out onto the person opening the pod at our destination. While I would recommend this company if you have the man power to oversee the moving and planning and you were only moving within 20 miles, I would recommend looking elsewhere for a longer move or when you want movers you don't have to micromanage to limit damages.

I am unable to change the date on this survey, but my move did not take place on 10-23-23 as scheduled. This was NOT the fault of Great Price Movers. It was entirely U-Haul's incompetence in scheduling my move. Great Price Movers went above and beyond to make sure my U-Box was delivered ASAP on 10-27-23. They communicated well with me, they were professional, they worked hard, and very personable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of moving services.
