Soft Touch Moving and Packing

I had a bad experience with ‘Soft Touch Moving and Packing’ through U-Haul in Toronto. The lead mover was arrogant and dressed that felt intimidating. Overall they were unwelcoming, making the situation uncomfortable from the start. They long amount of time packing the truck and left behind several heavy objects that should have been loaded much earlier. At nearly 2 hour, the lead mover informed me that their time was almost up. Instead of offering to help finish the job, he started arguing with me and my pregnant wife. When I asked if they could extend for another paid hour, he flatly refused. I even requested that they at least load one of the heavier items they had deliberately left behind, but he refused unless I paid for an extra hour. This experience was stressful, especially during a time when we needed the most support. The lead mover's attitude and unwillingness to cooperate left us doubting humanity. Steer clear of this company. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.
