Movers were 90 min late due to traffic in construction. Don't know if they scouted possible delays or not, but the delay affected our tight schedule significantly The movers were pleasant enough but seemed focused on speed over the security of the items, making my wife especially uncomfortable. For example, when moving a 50 inch TV in a box up 3 flights of stairs, one mover also carried a bar stool in the other hand which he held against his body. The resulting huge sweat stain covered half the seat, and we had to get cleaning supplies to fix it. Two trips would have prevented that. In another example, 1 person carried a queen mattress in a protective cover, but since he tried to do it himself, the cover was ripped in numerous places and the mattress cover was soiled while being slid across the floor rather than carried. We paid for the minimum 2 hours, but it only took them 60 minutes.
