The day of the move itself was ok. However, upon my Ubox arrival at my new apartment, a number of my things were damaged, including my wooden tv stand, which was completely destroyed, broken into many pieces. My bed mattress had a nail sticking out of it, my floor lamp fell apart, my wooden coffee table had a significant scuff on the top, a scratch on the top and another scuff under one of the edges. This can be blamed on the transportation or something, but I used the Ubox service quite successfully moving much further, from New Orleans to Dallas. The crew who moved my things into my new apartment showed me the damage before taking anything out of the Ubox and it was clear, based on the damage, that the things were poorly packed into the Ubox. I made the mistake of not purchasing the insurance, so none of these damages are covered and I will get to purchase all kinds of new furniture. I DO NOT recommend Pick-Up Pros for your moving needs.

I booked this job literally at like 1am the day I needed it done, & Hector, Manny and Luis came through! It was later in the day than planned, but worked out fine (short job...only hour and a half. Hector's communication was great. They are efficient & skilled...packed the truck tight and nothing broken that I know of. They work steady & fast. Only issue was at the end when I felt like the payment code was asked for a little prematurely. The website says 2 men 2 hours but they have three so they don't expect to give you the full time you paid for, as it would take 2 men longer. So I guess my issue was that when he requested the payment code an hour and 20 minutes in it did not matter if the job was done, which it wasn't...there were just a few more things to be loaded or moved that only took another 10-15 minutes. I guess I was just put off by the feeling he was trying to duck out early with only a few more minutes of work needed anyway. Everything was great until that moment.

When I initially reserved the service through U-Haul, the reservation was sent for the incorrect date, but thanks to Hector's prompt contact, he was able to update my reservation for the correct date. I received several updates by text and phone from the company and the movers, Beto and Luis. Amazing and fast service. They were super helpful and communicative. They even got my oversized patio chair to my balcony over the rail. I wish I had the opportunity to take advantage of the extra services they offered and will definitely be using them again in the future.
