Expect work. Treated my stuff well during the move and nothing was broken. Moved my entire apartment into a house in 2 hours during the hot Texas summer. Easy to communicate with and showed up on time.

Be wary. I paid for two movers from Carter Moving for two hours, and agreed over text for them to help unload my Uhaul at a specific time. Shortly after they are supposed to arrive, I suddenly receive a text that one of the movers is sick and they are trying to find a replacement. Ultimately, they are never able to find a replacement. So I only ever get help from one mover, despite paying for two. Furthermore, the other mover shows up nearly 2 hours later than the agreed upon time, with no real explanation. I will at least say that the guy who showed up was friendly and helpful after he arrived, and I appreciated the help he was able to provide. I want to be understanding that things can happen last minute that mess up plans, but at the end of the day what I received wasn't close to what I paid for, and I felt that there was never a serious attempt by Carter moving to make things right or even make a sincere apology.
