Expect work. Treated my stuff well during the move and nothing was broken. Moved my entire apartment into a house in 2 hours during the hot Texas summer. Easy to communicate with and showed up on time.

Be wary. I paid for two movers from Carter Moving for two hours, and agreed over text for them to help unload my Uhaul at a specific time. Shortly after they are supposed to arrive, I suddenly receive a text that one of the movers is sick and they are trying to find a replacement. Ultimately, they are never able to find a replacement. So I only ever get help from one mover, despite paying for two. Furthermore, the other mover shows up nearly 2 hours later than the agreed upon time, with no real explanation. I will at least say that the guy who showed up was friendly and helpful after he arrived, and I appreciated the help he was able to provide. I want to be understanding that things can happen last minute that mess up plans, but at the end of the day what I received wasn't close to what I paid for, and I felt that there was never a serious attempt by Carter moving to make things right or even make a sincere apology.

They did an awesome job. It started raining and they still powered through with smiles on their faces. I’m going to save their info in case I need to move in the Houston area again and I’ll certainly recommend them to anyone looking for help moving.

The father son team that showed up did an amazing job. Our loaders did a horrible job loading the moving truck and these two guys worked hard to salvage items they could for us. The unload was complicated when they discovered the Uhaul truck had a leak and many furniture items and boxes were soaked. They were patient with me the entire unload and went above and beyond! I would hire these two guys again in a heartbeat! I wish I could have hired them to load as well! I can not say enough good things about this team!
