Jose, Freddy and Eric went above and beyond. They were incredibly efficient, both in terms of time and truck space. An hour to load a 3 bedroom house, a little over an hour to unload at the new home. They were attentive, professional, and worked so fast. For the first time in my life, moving was actually pleasant and these three gentlemen were a big reason for that.

I had an incredible experience with GetMovingDMV! From start to finish, their service was outstanding. Sandra was professional, responsive, and made scheduling easy. On moving day, Mike sent two movers who were absolutely phenomenal. They arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and handled all of my furniture with care without any damage done to either building. I hired them to load my 1BR apartment into a UBox based on high reviews, but my experience didn’t quite match. Sandra was a bit defensive when I politely asked why they didn't bring everything down to the dock first before starting to load the Ubox. I felt like they didn't take a whole inventory of everything and just started loading. This gave me anxiety about not being able to fit all my stuff in the Ubox or having heavier boxes loaded on top. Even though at the end, they were able to fit most of my belongings (thus I'm still giving 4 stars), it felt like they were more focused on stuffing everything quickly rather than carefully and strategically stacking items to prevent damage. I think because this is a fixed rate, they just wanted to get it done quickly instead of putting some care to my belongings. Moving is already stressful, and unfortunately, this team did little to ease that stress.
