The communication was sub par, at best. I was informed, after paying and scheduling the appointment that the labor price quoted on the website was incorrect and that it would be an additional fee or I could cancel and hire another. Now I couldn’t risk doing that due to tight time frame so I reluctantly decided to stick with them. To their credit, they did offer a reduced, (still more expensive) price than originally stated. I wasn’t given notification of the movers NOT GUARANTEEING their start times until the day of the move and less than 3 hours before requested time. They didn’t arrive until after 5 pm! My fiancé was almost done with loading up by the time they showed up! So at the end of the move, I was asked for the additional fees to be paid to which I did and then the movers left. I was told to have a dolly as they don’t bring equipment. So another unplanned cost to U-Haul for a dolly rental. Only for them to bring one. I am very disappointed and will not use them again.

Two young guys showed up smelling like weed. I told them at the start of the move the house was freshly painted and please do their best to be careful. The damage they made from all the furniture was way beyond a bump or a scratch. there is a huge gouge in my banister, going all the way up the stairs and on the side wall. They scraped it so bad that it went through three layers of paint, including the previous paint before we painted. I spoke with the owner and he keeps saying he is going to have someone come and fix it and it’s now 11.10.24 when we moved on 10.20.24. The owner has texted me a few times saying I’ll be there this day or this day and nothing. Now he isn’t responding at all. I am beyond upset about how this move went. They took more than the time needed and stood out by the truck talking for 20 mins multiple times. Very lazy and very unprofessional moving company.

After complaining to locals, I learned things are different here & I shouldn’t complain. These movers were proficient in maneuvering bulky items around narrow corners. I enjoyed the communication between them to ensure no damage to the items or walls & no injuries to themselves while making the tight corner at the top of the stairs. I hope to use them when I move from this place. My complaint was the 2 hour window. I selected 0900-1100. I’m accustomed to receiving communication between 0700-0900 saying 0900 is the time or a knock on the door at 0900. I was up & ready at 0900 because I had to return the moving truck that day. I did not receive a text until 0938 saying they would arrive at 1100. They did not show until 1140 due to traffic. One thing I have learned moving here is that it takes 22 minutes to travel 7.8 miles & then there’s always an accident. The second thing I learned from the locals is that’s normal business around here so I should be grateful they showed at all. I am

Following the chart provided on the website, I hired a 2-person team for 4 hours to unload my moving truck into our new 3-bedroom house. After consultation with the company, they agreed to send 3 people instead and were able to get the job done in about 3 hours. The day before unloading day, I needed to adjust the scheduled time, and they were flexible and agreed to do so. On loading day, due to traffic and a stop for breakfast, they arrived about 25 minutes later than planned. They were respectful and helpful, even moving a couple pieces of furniture to a different location after we changed our minds about placement. At times, they were rushing and less careful. One of our dining room chairs was badly scuffed, but not broken, when it fell onto the road from the dolly one of them was using.
