These guys were spot on. They were the second crew, due to the first crew getting backlogged. They were fresh and had the 'work smarter, not harder' attitude. They loaded a 20' truck under 2 hrs.

The gentlemen wrapped our furniture very well and arranged the items in an orderly fashion. We were most appreciative. However we had to repack all the items that were packed in the kitchen. Glassware was packed with cast iron pots. I took us 4 hours of our move time to repack the kitchen. I wish I had just had the furniture packed and prepared for the move and not paid to have the kitchen packed. It was a waste of our time and money to request the kitchen to be packed.

Admittedly, the move was unique in that I had items between two nearby locations, but the movers did not communicate with me at crucial decision points about what should be done with particular items. When I opened my truck to put the last few items I packed in there, I found that most of the furniture (mainly chairs) had been haphazardly stowed. This required me to spend an additional day in Virginia reorganizing the truck so items would be safe for my two-day drive. As I unpacked the items, I saw that there was damage to several of my late wife’s effects. I also noticed a few items were disassembled without my permission nor knowledge. I was very displeased with the service I received, especially because I tipped them for all their seemingly hard work. I erred in not verifying the quality of work sooner, but this four-person crew failed to ascertain my intentions and to communicate their own.
