Probably had too high expectations, but I was not happy with the move. First, no confirmation within 48 hours as noted so I had to reach out. The 2 movers showed up early and at the wrong address. Lucky was only 2 blocks away. My last move with Uhaul was a 2-hour load-unload and they were fast! This time it was a 3-hour load-unload with 2 movers and 2 of us, but it DRAGGED and went unfinished (2.5 bed apt). They spent minutes talking for each piece of furniture and how to load it. With 5+ years of experience, I’d expect them to know how to pack a truck, but they asked us what to move and conversed leisurely every time. An hour in, they knew they needed more time, which I’m sure they do each time, but we declined as we didn’t like being around them. I’m injured and was working twice as hard to finish. Not very professional, with small dings on floor+doors and odd remarks like ‘black dynamite’ from the one white guy towards the non-white guy. It sucks as the reviews were the highest!
