MKE moving helpers were about an hour late to arrive but did communicate their ETA with me. The actual job (unloading) was done very quickly and was completed within an hour. I had however prepaid for 4 hours of help, with 2hrs being minimum pay. I was told by helpers I would only be charged the minimum (2hrs) and will get a refund of the overpaid 2 hrs, but that never happened- I have not received a refund. Do not provide payment code if you have to adjust hours and make sure you secure your valuables. I learned the hard way, but karma is real.

I had a start time of 100. When nobody had arrived by 115, I called to find out when I could expect them. They said they were just finishing up a job that was over an hour away. They ended up arriving around 245. I know scheduling conflicts happen and time is hard to estimate - this is not my complaint. The irritation was the lack of communication. I was paying hourly for a moving truck and not only had already picked it up, but had to keep it longer than anticipated to accommodate the schedule change which ended up costing me more money. The guys were great and super friendly but some more consideration for time & communication would go a long way. They fit WAY more in the moving truck than I thought possible but they also broke the legs off my sectional and ripped my Sleep Number mattress.
