First and foremost. I have moved many times. I know how to pack and arrange things and also the time it wakes to make the move I was doing. I booked two people for 3 hours. The guy messages me about adding an additional two people. Then tried to give me the run around with the time and amount of things I have. He kept trying to change the time of the unload. Finally after driving through the hurricane to Colorado I agreed to the additional helpers around 24 hours prior to the move. He never gave me an updated cost after saying he would. He never confirmed the time. As I got into town 1am on the day we would move I had messaged and never got a response. I finally heard from him around 2 hours after the initial time. Never spoke about money after asking him. Dude was rude to my wife. Saying this and that will cost extra but wasn’t man enough to say anything to me. Got the work done in 1.5 hours. I paid for 3 hours with two people. Dude tried at that moment to extort me for more.

The movers did not show up on time and then they brought more workers than I requested and asked me to pay 2 additional hours claiming I was getting free labor worth 2 hours. They only worked 3.5 hours when I paid for 4. They left before they completed my job because they had made other commitments.

We were contacted and offered a refund to take our review down, no refund occurred. We had ordered moving help, 2 men for 2 hours. When I booked weeks prior, I listed every single big furniture item, including their location, what floor, ect.It was detailed and thorough;Day of, we receive a text from 'Joe' stating our movers would be running late. I called and he stated 'an hour tops', No one ever showed up on 8.10. We agreed to 6am 8.11 after Joe dodged our calls for hours and we called with a different number to make them answer.. they showed at 7am and left half an hour early. Both Joe and the other guy were on their phones the whole time and very unprofessional.Joe followed my disabled wife around the house, stating we have to pay him more money via his personal venmo to load. Joe knew the scam he was pulling on Saturday, when he decided to dodge our calls and texts for hours, then the situation he left us in for Sunday as well demanding extra money to load the truck.Awful company

I suggest a different company. I have used MovingHelp 3 times in the past year and this group was by far the worst. The actual movers were terrible. Damaged several pieces of furniture, damaged floors in several places, and were very very slow. However, it is not completely the movers fault. They were both very new and had zero equipment. I understand new staff is expected but pair new people with experienced ones that know what to do and provide them with equipment. Please for the sake of your property and belongings go with someone else.
