This company works on a contract basis where the movers are independent contractors. This means you are at the mercy of the random person who clicks yes to a contract. The contractors are unaware of your move details until after they have clicked yes, and do not have a way to judge if they are up for the task beforehand. In our case both contractors were inexperienced, and had never in their lives met each other. They did not work well as a team for this reason. Secondly, the second mover arrived an hour late and broke expensive furniture. Again, not completely his fault, this service contracts to inexperienced people and does not provide assistance in being professional movers. Essentially we got what we paid for, which was basically two random people for two hours. We did more of the labor than expected, didn’t trust them with the actual heavy items, and hired a second real company. The dispatcher worked with us to find a reasonable remedy.

I booked them for 2 guys for 10am. The owner text me that morning that 2 guys would be arriving by 1pm which was within their window. What window he was referring to; I don’t know. One guy showed up at 10 45. He did the entire move by himself until 2 additional guys showed up at 230 pm (outside the time he told me was within their window) when there was only 2 items left to put on the truck. A waste of time! Of course I didn’t tip them anything but I felt bad for the owner wasting their time. I also was unhappy that I booked 2 guys and got 1. It would have made the move much faster. They also damaged the ONE piece of furniture I had. My cabinet is chipped.
