I have moved many times and have never been so DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED with movers! They broke both my entertainment center AND my two-tier bookcase - I'm not even sure what happened to the rest of the bookcase! These people REFUSED to move a dresser and a filing cabinet, and I had to have friends come by to finish the job. They took a LOT of breaks which extended the cost of my move, and a friend of mine overheard them saying that they had just gotten off the night shift. I guess that explains the standing around and talking to each other instead of working? I had a very bad feeling when I first saw this trio but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Needless to say, my initial impression was correct. At the very least I would have thought that the movers would have apologized for their actions and tried to put these broken furniture pieces back together. Moving is a very stressful experience, and these people made it 100 times worse!

The helpers (Glenn and Austin) arrived on time. They were very pleasant and helpful! They worked together and communicated well to get our truck unloaded efficiently. It was already hot and humid when they started and they worked hard despite the weather conditions. They knew how the UHaul Moving Help program worked and put me in touch with the mgr to give the payment code.

I hired Helping Hands because they were the cheapest option, and they did actually get the job done. However, their timing was not good (they were 2.5 hours late) and they weren't super careful with my stuff (causing a few scratches). On the plus side, the price was way lower than other places!

The movers were on time. It was a bit confusing having 3 people as we only expected 2. There were a few dropped items when unloading from the truck before they started using the ramp. They did a good job of fitting everything in the storage unit and finished up earlier than expected. They seemed to be part time movers and not super experienced in different aspects of moving. I would recommend ensuring all of your goods are secured and well packaged, as they state in their terms. Overall the level of service was as expected since they are 'an economy service and offer among the lowest or the actual lowest prices for moving labor in your area'

I was a little leery at first hiring two people that I didn't know off a website. But they showed up on time and they did a phenomenal job and they were very nice and pleasant to work with. I would definitely use them again and I'll be telling everybody what a great service you guys provided.
